I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and have been teaching general Yoga, Yin Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga classes in Sydney for the last 12 years.
My teaching style and training is based on the traditional Hatha Yoga Practice, whilst adding my own flare from all of the yoga experience I have gained. I like to ensure each class I teach has a sense of playful fun, with a few challenges thrown in and all within a friendly and positive environment.
I continue to broaden my knowledge and experience in yoga by regularly practicing, reading yoga articles, magazines, books and also furthering my study in other areas such as Meditation, Mindfulness, Pranayama, Yoga workshops, retreats and my recent qualification in Pre & Post Natal yoga – diploma with the IYTA. I recently completed the IYTA Advanced Teacher training workshops for 2016 as well as level 1, 2 & 3 Certificate of Yin Yoga with the IYTA.
In my personal life I work full time in the corporate world and I also have two very sweet & cheeky young kids, they both certainly keep me on my toes. So I find that Yoga is a great outlet for staying sane in this very busy world we all live in.
